TRAVEL: ARRIVAL

You’ll fly to Anchorage, AK and then on to Kodiak. Alaska Airlines is the single carrier that flies to Kodiak. They bring a jet to Kodiak 2- 3 times a day.

Plan to arrive in Kodiak by or before 4pm, June 14th. (There is a flight that arrives at 2:30 pm on the 14th— that’s perfect!)

Housing on June 14th is available by 3:30 pm

ARRIVING EARLY?

Kodiak’s weather can be dicey at times. If you have the extra time and budget, it’s even better to fly into Kodiak on Thursday or Friday. There’s lots to do here! And it helps you rest from travel as well as acclimate to the time difference before the retreat begins.

If you come early, Thursday or Friday, you will need to book your own lodging. Be sure and check the address of the establishment. There are some B+B’s that are 20 minutes from downtown where there is no access to stores or restaurants (in the Women’s Bay or Bells Flats areas.) Taxi service there is expensive. I recommend staying as close to downtown as possible where restaurants, shops, museums, the harbor are all in close walking distance. Your housing for the retreat will be available by 3:30 pm on Saturday. Taxis are available to get

AIRPORT PICKUP and DROPOFF

We will provide Airport pickup for arrivals and dropoff for departures at the end of the week.

TRAVEL: DEPARTURE

For booking your return flight home, our retreat finishes Friday night. You’re free to book flights out any time on Saturday.

MAKING YOUR FINAL PAYMENTS:

You will receive instructions for settling your final balance via email.
